Rebecca Durnin is a communications consultant with more than 15 years’ experience spanning agency and in-house roles. She has partnered with leading global brands on corporate, consumer, sustainability and crisis communications, as well as CEO profiling and thought leadership.
Based in London for over a decade, Rebecca advised clients across diverse industries including luxury goods, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, fashion, consumer products, and education. Her work frequently extended beyond traditional mandates, providing strategic counsel to senior executives on matters ranging from their private family offices to philanthropic initiatives.
In 2022, Rebecca relocated to Canada to lead the global communications and marketing team of the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA). During her tenure, she directed communications for high-profile geopolitical conferences across three continents, working closely with government officials, industry leaders and international media. In 2025, she launched Rebecca Durnin Communications, bringing her expertise to organizations seeking tailored, strategic communications support.
Rebecca holds an M.A. in English Literature from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Alongside her consulting practice, she serves as an Ambassador for Carolyn’s Community, a Montreal-based charity which organizes clothing, food and toy drives for families in need.
